Senior Session At Rattlesnake Lake

Once in a while I get a really cool request for a photo session. This was one of them. This super talented young man wanted something a bit different and unique. He didn't want a typical senior session. That got me all excited. I'm always in the mood for something different!

I love working with young people. They are so full of goals and dreams and are super excited about their future. I always feel extra energized after my senior sessions.

For this particular shoot I had to satisfy three client. Boy's mom who wanted something with him fishing because that's what he loves to do and she wanted it commemorated. Then they wanted something more typical of a senior shoot for boy's dad, and then of course there was the young man himself who had lots of ideas that would require a lot of my photoshop skills.

Most people that live in Washington State love the Pacific North West and one of my most popular demand is that they want something with that in the background. That is why Rattlesnake Lake is my most popular location. It is not too far from Seattle area and has the perfect PNW vibe. It has great lake, big mountains and huge forests. Needless to say that is where we've decided to do this shoot.

We did this during the week. This place gets really crowded on weekends and gets really difficult to take good shots without people in it.

The day was perfect. It was nice and sunny allowing for that beautiful backlight that looks so good in the pictures.

We had a lot of fun during our session. My client was so funny. Everything went really well. I was able to get a lot of great shots. When mom saw the final images she almost cried, she was so happy with how they turned out.
