Making Memories in the Mountains: A Fun-Loving Family's Winter Photoshoot at Snoqualmie Pass
I recently had the privilege of photographing a fun-loving family in the snow-capped mountains of Snoqualmie Pass. It was a truly magical experience, and one that I will never forget.
The husband and wife were accompanied by their young son, and the three of them made for an irresistible photographic subject. Although it got cloudy, I was convinced that I’d capture some beautiful shots that would make for amazing keepsakes.
In spite of the cold temperatures, there was an overwhelming sense of joy and adventure in the air. The family was full of laughter, playful scuffles and smiles that lit up the crisp winter air. Of course, their son was absolutely delighted to be out in the snow, which made it even more fun for me to capture their pictures.
Adorned in matching red sweaters, they looked beyond content with the task of frolicking through the snow, and onto my camera lens. The bright colors of their winter attire only served to add a taste of contrast to the monochromatic landscape.
By the end of our session, as the sun began to dip behind the mountains and temperatures started to drop even further, I felt a sense of satisfaction at the shots I had managed to capture. I was sure the family would make beautiful memories out of the photos of their adventure to one of the most beautiful parts of Washington State.
