"A Baby Fills A Place In Your Heart That You Never Knew Was Empty" - AUTHOR UKNOWN Becoming a mother is one of the most precious most wonderful moments in a woman's life. This gorgeous mama to be wanted something very special to remember it by. We've decided that Ancient Lakes at Quincy, WA would give us the perfect magical backdrop for her red flowwy maternity gown. It was quite a drive, but it is getting harder and harder to find beautiful uninhibited places around Seattle that provide the same type of magical and serene feeling in the pictures. At first we started at Ancient Lakes. This place is a photographer's dream! It has waterfalls, lakes, mountains, beautiful tall grass, and lots an

I have been working with a very talented children's designer, Hadiqa Sabah, owner of Innie Minnie Closet. She mainly focuses on creating beautiful one of a kind dresses for girls for special occasions. This dress so far is my absolute favorite one! The style and design is so gorgeous! It photographs so well, and would make any girl feel like a princess. I'm in love with this dress! It was absolutely perfect for our princess cherry blossom session. With so much bounce and texture it looks stunning! One of my favorite features was that despite the dresses volume and length the little princess could run around in it with such ease. I've shot over princess sessions where a girl could barely move
Meet Ava, a sweet little girl who looks absolutely stunning in this handmade dress by Innie Minnie Closet. She is only two years old and I got a lot of exercise chasing her around Washington Arboretum Park taking pictures. Although cherry blossoms were beginning to bloom, I've decided that yellow daffodils would make a better compliment to this beautiful red dress. And Ava's interaction with daffodils was absolutely adorable. That's what I love about little kids. You can't really tell them what to do. Every single picture is a true representation of their personality. It is so natural and real. I love it! It was a chilly morning and we had to take a lot of breaks to give her time to warm up.
