Wild Daisies Maternity Session | Bellevue Photographer
It's getting harder and harder to find uninhibitted wild flower fields around the city anymore. This place is a little gem that I will cherish forever. Every year wild daisies fill these beautiful open fields in a protected State Park.
I love doing sessions during this time. Big open fields filled with gorgeous wild white flowers will take anyone's breath away. But they don't last very long, only about a couple of weeks and then the state park rangers have to cut them down due to wild fires that our state has been suffering from the past few years. So I have to work very fast and I always try to do at least one session there.
I always wanted to do a maternity session there, so I was so excited when this wonderful sweet beautiful couple was just as excited as I was and trusted me to take their maternity sessions.
I say trust because every time you book a session with someone you are trusting them with their vision and artistic and technical ability to create beautiful images of you that are worthy to put up on the walls.
I dare say I didn't disappoint I'm my worst critic and I'm absolutely in love with how these pictures turned out!!! They are so soft and elegant and sweet. Just what I had envisioned in my mind before this session began.

And this wonderful gorgeous couple was so fun and nice and very easy to work with. They were up for anything! We walked around the fields a bit before I finally found what I believed to be the perfect spot filled with lots of gorgeous daisies and had the perfect light. It took only but ten minutes for me to set up and start shooting pictures.
As always I took nearly a thousand pictures! I can't help myself! I like to get every angle possible, every pose that may be the one. It is amazing how many pictures you have to take to come up with that one perfect pose, that one that makes you say "Aha! This is the one!!!"
The challenge with this session was a choosing my favorite poses. There were hundreds of them!!! How could I possibly narrow it down to just a few? It took me a long time but I finally was able to come up with a few of my favorites and they are being featured in this blog.
We've decide to do three gowns for this session, one sweet and cute, one dramatic and fabulous, and one sexy but oh so sweet.
The session didn't last too long, this future mom-to-be is so beautiful and photogenic that it took me about an hour to take all the pictures I wanted to take. I mean come on! How gorgeous is she?!!!
I can't wait for the next year when I can go back these beautiful daisy fields and take more amazing pictures! Please enjoy the rest of them!
